Welcome to the Virtual Training Company presentation of Microsoft Exchange 2010 and in this course we're going to concentrate on Design and Implementation. My name's Mark Long, and I'll be your instructor throughout this entire course. And we're going to dig into Exchange 2010. Yes, it's hard to believe it's 2010 already and it's hard to believe that there's yet another version of Exchange out there on the market. It seems like only yesterday that we were talking about Exchange 2007, but 2010 is upon us. There are some really, really cool things going on in Exchange 2010 that you're really going to like. Now some of these new changes are going to affect the way that you carry out design and implementation and that's what we're going to focus on, especially in this course. Now, Microsoft Exchange is such a large topic that it's really hard to hone in just on design without, from a standpoint of absolute necessity, talking about some of the other aspects of Exchange that you need to understand to get down to the design phases. So, we'll talk about things like Active Directory, some of the new features, and exactly how to make sure that Exchange 2010 is going to give you a return for the dollars that you spend on upgrading. So, then we'll talk about implementation, how to actually install this thing and kind of some things to watch for there. So, got a lot to cover. We'll probably do six hours or more on Exchange and we will get a lot of hands-on, take a look at some installs, and all sorts of things. So, thanks for being here. Glad you joined me, and let's get started.
