(SFX) Well, hello there. I'd like to welcome you to the Virtual Training Company production of Designing Database Solutions for Microsoft SQL Server 2012. Hello my name is Mark Long and I'll be your instructor for this course. And we're going to take a look at Designing Database Solutions for Microsoft SQL Server 2012 as it pertains to preparation to take certification exam 70-465. Now this part of Microsoft's certification process and we'll get into more of that later on in the course. But for now I just want to welcome to your course. We're going to take apart the various technologies in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 and how you need to consider these when you're designing database solutions. A lot of material to cover here, there's a little bit of cross talk and overlap between other Microsoft courses in the track, I'll point that out as we go through. But especially on a lot of these technologies I'll tip you off to which aspects of these technologies are going to help you accomplish one or other goal when you're designing a database solution in a SQL Server environment.
