I have been a SAS programmer / data manager for over 20 years in the area of clinical research. I recently changed positions and have the luxury of utilizing the VTC program to brush up on the use of Microsoft tools. Our area uses mainly office tools, and I was amazed at what is possible. I have used Excel mainly as a data 'way station" for SAS output, audits and general reports. Your video showed me not only what was possible with Excel, but was a fabulous presentation of stats. I have now completed my first on line course in MS Publisher 2003 with VTC. Author Kate. J.Chase is to be commended on her unassuming style and effective presentation. The course is delivered in appropriately well sized morsels. I am just beginning really, and my VTC enrollment for a year will pay for itself many times over. I was facing extinction despite my wide technical knowledge because of a deficiency of skills in use of assistive new technology software tools. I just completed Brian Culp's Microsoft Outlook 2007 course and it was one of the most pleasant and informative courses I have ever taken. I just want to say once again how great your online content is - I only have one complaint: there arent enough hours in the week that I can devote to VTC online! I think at the moment for me the perfect holiday would be being able to blob out with my laptop and VTC for about three days straight without being interrupted by work! This place is THE BEST! I am such a visual learner and trying to complete a project for a class. I stared at the blank white space of Illustrator and was basically panic stricken as I did not know how to begin. I have a book but I learn by seeing someone do it, then it is easy to keep in my mind. Taking an online class in CS3 Photoshop and Illustrator was probably not the ideal way to learn for me lol. I joined your site yesterday and I completed my project in one night. Now I can just play in this site and learn all sorts of new things in an easy to follow manner. THANKS!

The AutoCAD 2004 for Architects by Ivanhoe Tejeda was an EXCELLENT class! I really learned a lot and feel that Mr. Tejeda is a gifted and thorough instructor. This (C Programming) is a great course! I've taken several college courses on C/C++ and I've never had an instructor that could explain the mechanics of the language (especially pointers) as well as Mark Virtue. I've been programming for years in other languages so a lot of this wasn't new to me, but this course definitely improved my C skills! I would recommend this course to anyone from beginner to advanced that wants to learn C in an easy-to-understand no-nonsense way. Thanks for releasing an excellent product!

It's hard to find something new on the Internet these days which is truly outstanding, but VTC surely must qualify. As a mature undergraduate having to deal with the somewhat limited tuition on software packages, this site is amazing. I can choose the software I need to learn about and study them in detail at my own pace... good grades this semester then! Also, there's loads of other goodies like music software tuition which I've just never got the hang of in the past, can't wait! Absolutely great value and of the highest standard - keep up the good work.

Great tutorials! I used to read books to learn different subjuects... but video tutorials are absolutely the way to go and you have some good ones here at VTC. I have learned more for the price of one month than I would have with any book and the book would have cost more too. Keep up the great work!

I have purchased books, numerous books, more than one can readily admit to, but these training courses surpass all that. To me it is hands on, I learn SO much more by watching then doing. Take my word for it, try the courses, even if it is for just 1 month, you will see and hear the difference, books are flat, they are good! But they can't offer what VTC does.
