Now that we've come to the end of our course on openSUSE Linux, let's do a quick recap and talk about the things you covered. First we gave you an introduction to openSUSE Linux. We kind of told you what it was, why in my opinion it's the greatest distribution there is out there. Then we looked at installing openSUSE Linux. We actually went through an install and showed you how to install Linux on your computer and then we looked at the popular desktops; KDE, GNOME and others. Finally, we went to system configuration and management, where we learned how to look at files, what makes openSUSE go, the text-based configuration files and so forth and how to manage them. Then we looked at configuring the hardware on openSUSE. After that, we took a quick look at configuring networking on openSUSE where we looked at beginning firewall configuration, configuring a network connection and looking at wireless. After that we looked at managing users and groups where we looked at how to create users and manage them and how to put them in groups for efficient administration. Then we took a quick look at applications on openSUSE, just to kind of give you an idea of what applications look like and how easy they are to work in so that you can get an idea of how easy it's going to be to transition from Microsoft Windows or some other operating system to openSUSE. Then we transitioned from the desktop arena to the server arena. We looked at configuring server services. We looked at the different services you can configure on openSUSE to make it a full-fledged network server, such as DHCP, DNS, Apache, Samba, NFS, NIS and so forth. These are but a few of the server services that you could configure on openSUSE. Then we delved a little bit more into security. We looked at configuring openSUSE user security and with that we looked at the different options we can use to configure the environment for a secure computing environment for our users. Next we stepped up to configuring openSUSE system security, where we looked at things like AppArmor, advanced firewall configuration, hardening your box, which is very important, and system integrity. Then we moved on to some advanced system management topics; things that you may want to learn how to do to help make your day-to-day management of the computer a lot easier. And finally, we finished off with some best practices that you can use daily in your administration in use and security with openSUSE Linux. It's been a great pleasure to be your guide on this course and I wish you all the best of luck in the world with your openSUSE computer.
