This is Mike Jang, and it's been my pleasure to create this course just for you. I'm also the author of a number of other Linux titles, including several books associated with different Linux certifications. The Fifth Edition is up to date for Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5. Yeah, when I was changing careers a while back, I started by studying for the MCSE, and got the credential for the MT4 series of exams, but while I was doing this, I took a Linux course and have been sold on this open-source operating system and the associated philosophies ever since. When you study this course, remember, it's based on practical skills, so the best way to study is to take the topics discussed in this course and practice them again and again.
