Now that our ToDo application is complete let's build a version for MAC OS X, Windows and Linux that can be deployed to users. There are two areas you need to check for these settings. The first is the properties for the app object. First we need to ensure that we have an application identifier. This is used by MAC OS X. It typically follows this format, com dot company dot application name. Next we want to check the version information. We can change this to final, we can also fill in these fields down here, the Windows app name will be ToDo dot EXE, the Linux app name will just be ToDo, and the MAC OS X app name will just be ToDo. Let's save these changes. Now we'll go to the Project Menu and check the build settings. We're going to want to build a universal binary so ToDo will work on both Intel and Power PC Macintoshes. We also want to build for Microsoft Windows and for Linux, and we definitely want to use the builds folder. Let's click OK, and now in the project menu, we can select Build Application. This will build each application, one after another, and your builds folder will now have a folder for each of the builds. We have our Linux build, our Intel only MAC OS X build, our Universal Binary Build, and our Windows build. Let's check the MAC version. There's our app with our icon, and we can double click it to run it.
