When working with Quicken or any other computer program, it's always nice to have some options beyond just the tutorials and learning components such as this movie. Occasionally we need to get into some core troubleshooting. We have to remember; computers are very complicated. Things do go wrong. In working with online transactions, we have even more components in the picture and even more things can be a little bit tedious at times. If we go back up to the Help Menu, you will see that there are some additional components. We have a forum to Ask Quicken Users, we have manual and tutorials. Now first, the tutorials tend to be very basic. Their intent is just to get you up and running with Quicken. When working with Ask a User, you are going to an open forum. Please keep in mind that this forum is not monitored by anyone. That means that anyone can give you a solution. Whether or not that's a good solution is another story. Always when working with forums try to get more than one opinion and always work with these solutions in a demo or a test site first. Be careful with using solutions that have not come from the Help Menu or tutorials right within your master program. Try them out in a play company first. Now, the User Manual Section is an area that is actually a product for purchase. You will see on the bottom that it is a special offer that will discount the guide for Quicken. This is a book format. It gives you some step by steps. You'll notice the top takes you to Getting Started in two different areas. This is the same information that we saw earlier in the Getting Started. The idea here is to go through just the basics on the introduction of the Express Setup in actually establishing your accounts. So just be careful. I'd just like you to know that they're not necessarily in-depth solutions. Now when you're in Help, you will also notice that there is feedback on Quicken. This will take you also to Customer Support. Now, Quicken does provide for email access. You can indeed contact Quicken by email and they will try to send you the information. You can also go to the Quicken website and utilize a per-fee-based question and answer session. Now, although Quicken does charge you for this, if you are truly having some difficulties on Quicken, they will stick with you and ensure that your problem is solved. Also, do keep in mind that I have listed my email address in the section entitled About the Author. You are welcome to send me any comments, suggestions or questions that you have. There are a number of solutions that you can work with in Quicken that will come right off of the Help Menu. My experience has been utilizing search engines within your computer do not bring up a lot of help on Quicken. In this regard also, if you are using a search engine, very often the information that you will get will be on an older version of Quicken. Quicken has changed tremendously over the years and once again, the solution that you have on the Internet may not be valid for your edition of Quicken so always test out answers, always be a little cautious when you're getting things from the Internet. But do note there are places to turn to when you need additional help with working with Quicken.
