Let's move on to reporting and printing from Bento 2. I'm still viewing my report that I've built in our previous sessions where I'm showing my customers that have more than a million dollars in sales and are located in the state of OKlahoma. I want to go ahead and print this report. So Bento 2, like many Macintosh applications, simply allows you to use the standard print dialog and it has some options in the lower right-hand corner of the print dialog box. Over on the left-hand side you'll see a preview of the report that you're going to print. Now, your print dialog may look slightly different depending on the type of printer that you're currently using. So just to make you aware of that. You'll notice that something seems amiss here. We're only displaying one line of our report and that is because in under the Print Option I'm only printing currently the selected record. So I need to check the box to print all the records in the found report and you'll notice too that my report is printing on two pages. It looks like only the first four columns are displaying on the first page and then the last three are displaying on the second page. Under the right-hand column of options, if I click on the Fit to Width Option, it then condenses my report down so that it will display on one page. Perhaps if I'd like a little bit larger image, I could change to Landscape mode rather than Portrait mode and my report will print a little bit larger but in landscape fashion. If I elect not to print the background, well, then the shading, the alternate row shading turns off in this particular case. I can include the title. I can include page numbering. Not important for this report. And I can include the date and time of my report. So that's the way I want to keep it. I'll go ahead and preview that before I print it to my printer. Let me shrink that down and as you can see we have a report just the way it showed in the tiny little preview area, but it looks great. I could go ahead at this point and elect to send that off to my printer. I'm going to cancel and there we go. You can also print any Form View within your libraries. You may want to do that to print out perhaps a detail, almost like an address book or I'm going to show you another example of what you can print in Form View in just a moment. But in this case notice the dark blue background may not look good on a printed page, so I can elect to turn that off and here's one thing that you should very much be aware of when you are printing out in Form View. Most likely you're going to want to only print the current record that you're viewing. So you'll want to make sure that you've selected the Records Only Option rather than Print All Records because that has changed my report to 21 pages. So let me go ahead and press Cancel. I just want to quickly show you another form that you could view. You'll notice that I've added a couple of libraries here temporarily. These are invoices and this is something that you could do within Bento. You could set this up on your own but basically I have a sample invoice layout and to print out one of these invoices, again, it's simply Command Print. But there you have over on the left-hand side a very professional looking invoice that you could use for your business and it would look just like you see on the screen here. So go ahead and preview that again and you can change obviously the invoice layout to fit your particular needs and customize it any way you want. But that's something that Bento is capable of and does a great job of.
