Let's continue by talking about some of the items that we can actually change on the Template itself. To Edit the template, I'm simply going to right-click on the template and go to Edit Template. The very first screen is the basic customization. This is the screen that we were left out when we downloaded the template itself. On the top of the screen, notice it says, Manage Templates. When I select this, it brings me to the screen that can actually change the name of this template. If I'd like this, for instance, just to be Orange Invoice, I can change it to Orange Invoice. Once I say OK, I have now changed the name of my template itself. If I'd like to select a logo, right underneath is where I can choose my company logo. Now in this case because it's a template, it brought in the standards from QuickBooks. But normally I would just simply change the logo by selecting it and saying Open. Notice how I put the Arrow on. If I go back to Select Logo and I choose another copy, say Open, you can see how it changed. Now when it comes to the color scheme, if you're using a template, I want you to be cautious. In this particular case, the Golden Rod color is in the background, it's a watermark, so that is not going to change. However, if I'd like to change the area where we're typing, the gray bars in this case, I can go to the pull-down and I can choose another color. I'm going to choose beige, when I say Apply Color, notice how it changed the form areas that I would type in. Going further down, I can even choose the Font. If I'm not happy with Arial, if I'd like to choose Calibri, I'll just simply select it, say OK and my font has been changed. You'll notice when you're changing the font, that it asks you if you want it to change it for the title, the company name, data, labels, subtotals, et cetera. Each one is individual. Then I go into my Company Information. Now this Transaction Information comes directly from the company Information found under the company Menu. I can get there very quickly just by going to Update Information. This is where I can change any of the information that I need to for an invoice, a sales receipt or any other form that I'm working with in templates. I'm happy with the information so I'll say OK. Now you'll notice also if you'd like to turn on an E-mail Address, all you have to do, is select the E-mail Address and then you'll see a Print Status Stamp. This comes in very handy. Once you have marked an invoice as being paid, you've received a payment against it, it actually puts a Paid Stamp on it. This is very, very useful to actually e-mail or mail it to your client and they can see very clearly that it's been paid. This is just our first screen in basic customization. Now you'll notice we also have additional customization and a Layout Designer. Let's go ahead and talk next about the additional customization.
