Invoices / Orders & Estimates / Tracking Progress with Enterprise Solutions
Subtitles of the Movie
When you're working with Invoices or Estimates, I'd like to draw your attention to the Enterprise Solutions Edition and also the Accountant's Edition. Both of these will give you a bit more advanced reporting, including the Financial Designer. In this segment, though, I'd like to concentrate on the variations of the reports that you'll see. I'll talk about Enterprise in more general ways in an upcoming movie. Let's go to the Report Menu. You will notice in each of the areas that there's a bit more additional information; however, when we go to the Industry Specific Area, you'll see that it breaks it down to our Industry Solutions: Contractors, Manufacturing, Professional Services. Each area gets its own individualized report. Notice under the Retail Section that if I'd like to find out my sales, I can very quickly go to a graph. This breaks it down to each of my items and the percentage of what I sold of each item compared to my monthly income. There are a number of different areas that we can work with with these advanced reporting features. Let's go through a few examples. Contractors will like the Certified Payroll. There are instances where we have to follow government regulations. In this particular case, it will put together the list for us automatically. We'll find that there's also a Billed Unbilled Hours Report that is available. This will allow me to see exactly where people are putting in their time and insure that I've actually billed it to a job. Finally, we'll see that there's a Profitability Report by Product. This allows me to look at my actual costs versus my revenue. Right away it gives me my differences and the percentage of difference to make sure that I'm making the correct amount of profit. In other industries, such as Non-Profit, you'll see customization there also. One of the items that you'll notice within the Non-Profit is the Change of Terminology. In this case, I have a Donor Contribution Summary. It is this summary report that is really income received; however, in the case of non-profit organization, we consider it to be contributions. Each area is broken down in a great amount of detail for us automatically. Keep in mind that with the Financial Statement Designer, we'll also be able to customize these. When you're looking for solutions beyond the normal reporting for invoices, for estimates, for orders, keep in mind the Accountant's Edition and Enterprise. Take some time to view the differences and see if these solutions might be right for you.
