Hello. I'm Lauri Matson and I will be your instructor through out the QuickBooks series. As a QuickBooks Pro Advisor I've had the opportunity to work with a variety of QuickBooks versions. As a National Seminar Instructor, I've also had the opportunity to learn the skills that are necessary for the maximum retention of information. I will encourage you through out the video to go back and forth between applying the skills and reviewing the movies. I will also bring over 30 years of accounting and administrative experience to our videos. I currently work as a successful business owner where I consult with a variety of clients. I currently see QuickBooks used in a variety of settings. These include the retail aspect of QuickBooks which is known as point of sale. The Enterprise Version which is wonderful as a networking solution in larger companies and a host of industry solutions that specialize in each area of business. One of the most important aspects of Quick Books is its ability to actually specialize solutions. Over the course of the year I've worked with a variety of developers to come up with very specialized answers to our problems. I'll also emphasis the solutions that integrate Microsoft programs, you will find that the ability to have one click access to Microsoft Excel and to Word are a very powerful tool. You'll also find that you can apply these various tools to the other Microsoft programs such as Microsoft Access.
