Wrapping up, as I wrote this video tutorial I was able to dig into features that I have used in a long while and realized why I'm still a QuarkXPress Fan. I hope that in using this video you've learned a thing to or maybe revisited a feature you had forgotten. Using QuarkXPress is logical, if you've only ever used a word processor before this, you'll have to add a skill or two, to your arsenal. I've tried to organize these movies in a way to help you grow into the application starting with learning the lay of the land and adding in the palettes that are such a big part of the navigation and creation of projects. As you advance through the movies I dropped in the text and picture features along with their attributes and then moved you into more complex topics such as Transparency, Master Pages, Anchoring and working with Color Management. You were then introduced to the new Pen Tool features that enable you to spend more time in QuarkXPress, especially for the easy tweaks or modifying clipping pads and alpha channels. QuarkXPress has features that you will not find anywhere else today, composition zones and job jackets are two great examples of new technology pioneered by Quark. I can't tell you how many seasoned QuarkXPress Professionals I talk with at any given trade show who've never even taken the time to learn about these two really great workflow solutions. These movies are for those of you still holding out. Now that you know how to use Quark Express why stop with print?
