You can apply a number of styles to a line. Select a line and then under style menu, you have 11 presets to choose from in the sub menu. You also can choose from the presets in the measurements palette or navigating under item and down to modify and under style you can choose from 11 presets. You can choose from a selection of 6 lines and styles including arrowhead and tail feathers. And you can choose either through the modify box or under the style and arrowhead or on the measurements palette. To choose the width, you can do so, using the style menu and down to width and choose a width or you can choose other by selecting your own point size or in the modify menu box from the presets. You can also choose on the measurements palette any of the presets or enter a value and hit the return key. With the line selected, you can increase by one point using the command option and shift keys and then the greater than or the lesser than key on the keyboard to decrease. And to increase using the presets, use the command shift and greater than symbol or the lesser than. When choosing a color or a shade for the lines and gaps, navigate up to item and down to modify. And then under the line color, choose a color for the line and you can choose the shade. And then under the gap drop down menu, you can either choose a color or choose other. And then choose the color by modifying it and say OK and give it a shade. When you’re satisfied, press OK. You can also navigate up to style and down to color and to shade or in the colors palette with the line selected. Choose the line color but you can’t choose the gap. This has to be done under the modify window.
