The Tool Palette / Zoom Tool

The zoom tool lets you change the view percentage of a document or to view a specific area. When you select the zoom tool, the zoom-in pointer displays. So you can either click and it will jump in increments set up in your preferences or you can click and drag and this will display the enlarged area of your marquee. In order to access the zoom-out pointer, hold down the option key and then click and you will zoom out in increments. By clicking and dragging that will put you back to your zoom-in tool.
