Subtitles of the Movie

As an overview to the palette, I have opened all the palettes under the view menu. The hyperlinks palette is used to assign a link to highlighted text, an image map, a picture box or other selected items. The links are only active when viewed in a browser but hyperlinks can be assigned to text in a non-web document that is going to be exported as a PDF. The placeholder palette is used to style XML element content. The sequence palette is used to make a list of items in the QuarkXPress document known as a sequence. The index palette is constructed by marking each individual entry for indexing in an actual document and then using the index palette to assign formatting specification for how each entry will appear in the index such as its style and level of indentation. The list palette is used to build a table of contents or to alphabetize a list of headings for a current document or a multi chapter file in a book. The trap information palette is used to assign trapping specification to individual objects. The layers palette allows you to organize objects in a document according to their front to back stacking order. By using this palette you can create new layers, move an item to a different layer, merge two or more layers together, restack layers, delete layers, lock, and make layers temporarily invisible or non printable. The colors palette is used to apply process spot or web safe colors to text, pictures, boxes, lines, and tables. The style sheets palette is used to apply style sheets, which are sets of character and paragraph specifications. The document layout palette is used to rearrange, insert and delete document pages. You can also move throughout a document, create, modify, and apply master pages. The measurements palette contains some of the same commands and options that are available under other menus. The options on the measurements palette change depending on what kind of item and tool are selected in your document. The palette is blank when nothing is selected. The tools palette contains 30 tools and they are used for item creation and editing. When you’re in a web document the web tools are visible.
