Introduction / Printing Enhancements
Subtitles of the Movie
The new printing enhancements for QuarkXPress include blank plates when printing separation and this is found under the setup tab in the print dialog box. Under the print preview, Quark now includes a more comprehensive list of the settings applied to the document that would be output. The graphic preview of the document displays the imageable area, the document area, the bleed area, and the registration marks. The graphic preview also displays whether page flip or negative print has been applied when you’re printing with non-postscript printers. You can now print pages as thumbnails. And in the print dialog box under the setup tab, the settings in the reduce or enlarge, the pop-up window of the page positioning, the fit in print area check box can now be selected when printing to the non-postscript devices. You can now use the frequency field in the output tab to control the frequency for imported rasterized pictures when printing to a non-postscript device. Rotated tiff pictures can now be printed at full resolution to a non-postscript printer. You can now send composite RGB output to a non-postscript printer.
