Introduction / Context Menus

Subtitles of the Movie

A context menu is a dynamic menu that displays commands specific to the task you are performing. Displaying this menu is as easy as pointing and clicking. And so to display the context menu on a Mac system, press the appropriate keyboard command and then click on the object you want to effect. The default keyboard command is control click. The control key under the interactive application, however, you can change this keyboard command to control shift click by clicking the zoom in the control key area. To display the context menu on Windows, right click on the object that you want to effect. The context menus are available for the pasteboard, rulers, empty space on a document page, picture boxes, text boxes, text paths, lines, tables, and many palettes. Because it requires less mouse movement and menu searching a context menu can help save production time while you are working within the document.
