Hey everybody, this is Dwayne Ferguson from Virtual Training Company. I hope you enjoyed this tour of Poser 8. Man oh man, did we cover a whole lot of stuff. Well, the first thing we talked about, of course, is the Editing Tools and how you can use them to pose figures and we really had a good time playing around with Andy, making him vanish for the most part so we can use other things. We also spent time learning about how to use the Camera Controls and the value of using the Posing Camera to really manipulate your objects without affecting your Render Camera. We also talked about how you can use these tools to zoom in and out and pan around your scene and also rotate around your scene as well. We spoke about how to create lights, how to manipulate lights, how to view our document in different ways. We talked about the Timeline and how to create Animation and talked about what a Keyframe is and how important it is to animation. We spent a lot of quality time in the Library going through the figures and the poses and the props especially. We learned how to search for things so you don't have to scroll through this list and we also talked about things in the Material Room, which I really love quite a lot - how to use the Nodes to change how the final result is going to look on our object. We also spent a little bit of time with the Wacros, which is the coolest word ever. We talked about how to add Reflections and Refractions; we talked about how to use the Toon Renderer and how to do Ambient Occlusion. In the Face Room we learned how to manipulate the face, change the morphs and add a photograph to the face itself. Of course, we learned that adding the photograph is not as easy as it sounds. In the Hair Room we talked about how to add hair to objects, how to create hair groups and how to make that hair move around with the Dynamics. The Cloth Room, well, we learned how to make cloth, how to make things Clothified, and with that cloth we were able to make it blow in the wind using a Wind Force. In the Setup Room we learned that this is where you're going to go to do the really high-end stuff. When you bring a figure into Poser and you want to add bones and all that kinds of stuff. This, of course, was beyond the scope of this tutorial and this is really, really high-end and very complicated stuff to explain. We also went to the Content to figure out where we could go and download new Content, for example Content Paradise and other areas on the Web. So let's go ahead and just take a quick tour of some of the things we worked on. We did some Reflections. We found out about Ambient Occlusion. We made a really cool still life, of course this was very simple and I would have spent a whole lot more time on it, but I just wanted to show you the methodology behind creating something like that and we had fun with our Ryan Hulk illustration where we learned how to composite different elements in conjunction with our Poser figures in Photoshop. Speaking of Photoshop we also built our own custom texture based on the Ryan Template that comes with our figures. So, once again, guys, on behalf of Virtual Training Company, I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. See you next time.
