Three-D magazines can offer you a wealth of tutorials and inspiration that will really take your 3D work in Poser and even when you combine Poser with other things like Painter or Photoshop to the next level. Now the magazines that I want to share with you, some of them have Poser content and some of them don't but the best thing about these magazines is that they talk about 3D in general, so whether you use Poser or any application, you can find some value in these. If anything, just to look at the artwork created by other people. It's just inspirational and it'll get you going. It'll definitely pump you up. One of my favorite 3D magazines is 3D World. You can find this magazine at your larger bookstores. It's from England, I believe and it's one of those oversized magazines. It's about 15 dollars and it comes with a CD. Now if you're doing this as a professional and you work at home for example you can write these guys off so make sure you keep your receipts. They are a hefty price tag magazine but I think it's well worth having. 3D World, once again, comes out every month, very good stuff. Another magazine from Europe is 3D Artist. Now this one's relatively new. There's only about 6 or 7 issues out so far and once again, about 15 dollars, comes with a CD from the UK, really, really good magazine. Unlike 3D World which pretty much talks about not just tutorials, but it talks about the upcoming technology in the 3D arena. It also talks about the upcoming products and applications whereas 3DArtist focuses on people like you and me, the artists, the creative people and it looks at their techniques and it's really great. I really enjoy that a lot. ImagineFX is another magazine, yes. You know I was going to say from Europe again. Oversized magazine. I don't think it's 15 dollars, but it is more than your typical magazine. This magazine is great for people who want to paint on their Poser models and composite those with other techniques. Really great stuff in there. Once again, there is some Poser stuff once in a while but it's not a Poser-specific magazine. Cinefex is a heavy-duty industry magazine. Once again, it's not going to really touch on Poser but just to read the behind-the-scenes of how movies and special effects are made is more than enough to get you going and ready to make some new cool stuff. Another magazine that you might want to check out is Corel Painter magazine. A lot of Poser artists love to use Painter and Photoshop in conjunction with Poser to paint hair, to paint costumes and clothing and all kinds of cool stuff on top of their Poser models. So these are some of the magazines that I highly recommend that you guys check out. Just go to your local bookstore, or one of the larger bookstores and just you know, flip through the pages and see what you like. So, check them out.
