So for this we're going to go into Projection Master. You know, Projection Master, Colors, no Fade, Double-sided, and Drop Now. We're going to get an awful harsh line with this, but we can clean that up. So in here we're going to turn this into my Directional brush and now I have several different squares to choose form to paint with, so I'm going to choose some of this, and I'm just going to start, you know, clicking and dragging out and I would choose 100 percent RGB for that. Okay I have some of this I can click and drag out for green areas. Now that one I might actually choose to go a little lighter on it and maybe cover it up with some red. Okay, so there's a good method of stacking textures. You know, I might actually use a texture; just at like 30 percent, and then come on in here with another one just to brighten it up some in one area. Okay, let's go into Projection Master and Pickup Now. What you're going to see is a very harsh line that appears on it, right there, okay? So, I'm going to mount it so that harsh line is right there; Projection Master, Drop Now, and I'm just going to go in here and take the darker value one with a higher intensity value and cover over that really harsh line. This time I'm going to choose Fade, but I'm still going to get this little after effect with the line, so I'm going to have to do this a few times just to get it out of there, but still, this is real texture, this is something I can export to Maya, 3D Studio Max, as long as I have UVs on the object, which we haven't really covered yet. For UVs I'm not going to do an apple, because that's kind of like; good for painting techniques, though. Okay, so there we go. And you just have to keep flying around it, kind of fix it up a little bit, Projection Master, pick it back up, and sooner or later you'll fix all the areas on it. Another thing that you might want to try to avoid is after you do this a while, you might have to take Double-sided off, or you'll just keep going around and around it and not really ever fixing it. Okay, so there we go. That looks pretty good. Okay, now I could choose to render it with just the Fast Shader. I could choose to render it with my original Mat Cap apple material, or you'll find actually some of these other materials will play upon it very well based on the texture that it has now. Like this one, for instance. This white Mat Cap. That looks really good, a little hot, but really good. And, you can go in [00:03:37 [ here to the Material and just turn it down. Okay. The same way to turn it down as I did with the apple. You can go in here and adjust the A:B ratio. This one doesn't have a B so I can use that to my advantage on turning it down quite a bit. All right. So there's a different workflow altogether as far as using a texture instead of a material so much to actually produce the same result.
