Subtitles of the Movie

Okay, in this next movie, I just want to clear this canvas here, and relaunch that texture. Layer, Fill. And I'm going to cover the rest of these tools. Okay, now, the next three brushes are actually almost the same. Depth brush is like this. You use it as an Alpha, and it kind of relies on that Alpha. But, the Depth brush always has this weird fall-off occurring no matter what you do to it. So, it's like really one of those one things that is very hard to use, in fact, practically useless. Single Layer brush, very useful. Okay, because in its intensity value, it only adds a little bit at a time, and it's a very flat laying brush. This is the one that you can actually use to develop like tattoos on characters and it has a very nice fall-off on it. More like adding a layer of goo to it. Now, the next one is the Painterly brush, and with this one, there's so much you can do with it. This one really mimics, like, the strokes on some of those old paintings where it was all acrylic. If you go in here, and just kind of do one of these numbers, you can really see that depth value occurring in your paint strokes. So if you turn it down and just kind of use it as your paint brush, and start developing these forms with it, it really does a nice job. Roller brush. Oh, I love this thing. Let's take a texture for example, and I'll just pick this RBG value, and let's just go to town with it. Okay, very useful. For what? I don't know. But it's very cool to play with. Let's just say, if I had a texture that had something a little bit different here, like eyes, just something very cool to play with. Okay, and Directional Deco brush and the Cloner brush I covered in a previous movie. I guess that's it for brushes as far as that goes. This is actually a 3D tool that I'm not covering. It doesn't work very well in 3.1. And the Mat Cap I covered in another movie. All right, so that's it for the 2D tools.
