Subtitles of the Movie

I added the negative blue water effect at the beginning of the movie, and now we've got a relatively long video with 384 frames. And the only thing left at this point for me to do is save it as a quicktime or avi, and this will enable us not only to compress this video greatly but also determine some other settings such as frame rate. And that is going to be very useful; so let me just stop it and go to the save as command, where I will chose save movie as quicktime. Notice the other choices available - I'll click OK and then I get a dialogue for not only renaming this, and I'll call it composite video, I'm going to put the MOV suffix there as well and just save it to the desktop, and now I get to choose the compression settings and I'll accept these values. I think I might want to raise the frame rate. Let's see what happens if we have a 15 frames per second, that should speed things up a little bit. I don't know that we need key frames at all, so that's OK. And the process goes forward of saving this composite to my quicktime format. Recall that you can still apply video effects or painterly effects or recorded strokes or scripts, as long as you open this composite within painter. So now I will go out of painter to the desktop and double click on this movie I just saved, which is now going to be now playing as a quicktime movie, and sure enough it is quicker. And it will probably look much smoother when you play your composite on your own movie player utility.
