By default a curve has two anchor points. With the associated wings or handles, and you can add more anchor points if you wish by using this pen tool with the + sign. It's part of this group of vector tools. So I think I am going to do that, I'll add a point right in the center, right there, and that will give me an opportunity that control this curve a bit more precisely. In order to move anchor points or adjust the angle and the size length of the wings, I need to use this hollow arrow selector. And I will drag this point down. I will drag the wing of my new anchor point, drag this point down, so that it goes to the end of the text, and also pull its wing up to approximate the curve a little bit more closely. That's looking pretty good: the curve isn't quite as even as I might like. I need to adjust the wings on this new point a little bit more, and I think I'll zoom in a bit, zoom in to about there, and that wasn't very much let's zoom in a little bit more. And now with the hollow arrow selected I can see much better what I am doing here. And I have as a guide this curve from one of the layers. Look at this anchor point down a bit and let's move this over. And this anchor point over. And now let's see with that looks like at 100%. Not too bad: I think it's not quite centered - well actually I think it is centered nicely. So other things I can do to adjust this if I wish I could change the tracking that is the space between the letters, if I want to tighten that up a little bit not too much just a little bit. And then I would be able to center this by moving the centering slider. Just where I want it; if I want to be very precise, I can just click on these little arrows instead of actually moving the center. I think that's very good - let's see what that looks like, by clicking on something other than the text layer. Lets add a drop shadow, so we will choose the text layer once again, making it active. And the shadow, the drop shadow, is this icon right here. I can alter the characteristics of the shadow perhaps by reducing its opacity somewhat and also by increasing the blur. Now let's take a look at the results of that. And I am satisfied with that, the only thing that remains now is to add the adjustment layer or the dynamic layer for brightness and contrast. So I will do that by going to this little dynamic plug-in icon. Choose brightness and contrast and now the sliders are made available to me. A little less brightness, I should see that, here it is, and a little more contrast. And when I see what I like I will click OK. Now I don't want the text to have the brightness and contrast added. So I just will drag this down and now my lettering is as it was before. But I have brightened or changed the brightness and contrast of all the layers below and that's it, we are done.
