Schedule Network Templates will be our focus for this movie. This is our final Tool and Technique of the Sequence Activities process to review and it's a fairly clear cut item so we'll breeze right through it. Just as it sounds, this technique involves using Templates from previous similar projects of Network Diagrams that can be taken and tailored to our current project. This, again, is a concept of applying and making efficient the assets that we already have. This also takes our experience and knowledge gained from previous projects, since you'll also be able to take a look at what a Network Diagram from previous projects look like at the closing of a project, after the adjustments were made and the sequence of activities were refined. As you can image, this expedites the creation and preparation of networks of project activities. We're cutting a corner here but again, this is a good thing. Remember that we get Templates from our Organizational Process Assets just as a refresher. As we did in building our Activity list we can either take an entire Network Diagram from a previous project or we can use portions of it, all depending on the needs of your current project. If you're using a portion of the Network Diagram this is referred to as a subnetwork, or a fragment network. These subnetwork Templates are extremely valuable when you have a deliverable that's identical or nearly identical to the deliverable of the previous project that you're using as a Template. This will help you also achieve consistency of results. That's really all there is to say about Schedule Network Templates. Remember that being proactive and efficient are two recurring themes of the PMBOK Guide and are often reasons why we use things like Templates whenever possible. And that closes out this movie and section.
