In this movie we'll cover formulating your Study Plan. Since the PMI RMP Exam is still fairly new there is a lot of question about what to study. My recommendation is first to complete the three-part VTC Course Series which provide you with a thorough review of the material. You'll want to read the PMBOK Guide at least once. Being familiar with all of the Knowledge Areas will certainly help you. If you're already a PMP you're definitely a few steps ahead. That's definitely important. Thoroughly understand the PMBOK Guide Chapter on Risk Management, read this Chapter multiple times and be sure that you're familiar with the concepts. Using the Terms and Workbooks from these courses, compile your Flash Cards and study, and then finally, you'll definitely want to take a full-length Practice Exam. Here are a few Exam Tips: Questions are all multiple choice; There are no questions with the option of None of the Above, or All of the Above; There's only one correct answer. You'll notice that the format is the same as the PMP and other PMI exams. Here's another Exam Question Study Tip: questions may contain excess information, as you saw during our own Practice Exam; Pay attention to key words, like ÒBEST,Ó and ÒEXCEPTÓ; Answer questions from a PMI perspective; and finally, When in doubt, go through the process of elimination.
