Subtitles of the Movie
In this movie, I'll go through logging your contact hours or PDUs for VTC's PMBOK course series which applies for one or all of the courses that you have gone through. For clarification purposes, the VTC courses and all project management courses offered through VTC count towards your contact hours or Professional Development Units. In order to apply for the PMP exam, you must have thirty-five hours of educational contact hours and twenty-three hours for the CAPM exam. Combined, the VTC courses for the PMBOK course series meet either of these two criteria, accounting for the total number of hours of the movie length and one additional hour required per course for going through the exercises. If you are taking this course through a CD then you will find a certificate within your Work Files which you may print out after going through the full course and attaching the purchase receipt with you name on it. If the purchase receipt does not contain your name the certificate is not valid and you are legally acknowledging that you have gone through the full course. If your application is audited by PMI, you will need to provide the certificate as proof of your contact hours. If you are taking this course through the online university, you may print out a certificate from the course details page. In order to print out the certificate, you must have first gone through every movie within the course. This provides the validation needed to certify that you have indeed gone through the course. You can see this link on the VTC website toward the middle right of the course page. Click on the orange link that says ÒGet the certificate for this courseÓ. It will provide you with a PDF copy of the certificate that you may print out. And here on your screen you can see an example of that certificate of completion. If you attempt to print out the certificate without having gone through the course you will see the following message, ÒPlease finish the following lessons to receive your certificate.Ó Towards the right hand middle of the page you also see a summary of what is remaining to be viewed. Number of lessons and also the total time left and that concludes this movie on how to validate and account for your contact hours and PDUs through VTC PMBOK course series. And this also brings to a close PMBK Part IV. I hope you've enjoyed this course and if you've gone through the entire course series, hopefully you've ended here with a confidence and understanding about the PMBOK Guide as well as feeling prepared for the PMP and CAPM exam. In addition, remember to go through the study plan provided in PMBOK Part I and also mentioned at the beginning of this course. Once again, thank you and best of luck on the exam and in your project management career.
