Hello. My name is Vanina Mangano, your Virtual Training Company instructor. I'd like to take a moment to thank you for joining me on this journey through Project Management and also to tell you alittle bit about myself and my background. I have been very fortunate to have had a diverse work history and this has led me down the consulting and training path. I specialize in Project Management, outsourcing and PMP exam prep training. Aside from VTC courses I also offer on-site and live virtual training through the Java Architects. I would definitely say that business is one of my favorite hobbies and that Project Management has been embedded into every one of my rules. When I'm not consulting or training you'll catch me building something. Here are my three most recent business endeavors that are active and going today. If you are in the business field you may relate to following. I have always attributed my ability to build the business to my Project Management skills, in addition I've taken a hand as a silent partner in other business projects and also in mentoring and coaching other entrepreneurs through organizations such as WITI where I served for two years as a local network director on a voluntary basis. On a more formal note I worked as a Vice President of Business Development for BH Net Software Solutions, a software development outsourcing company with offices in the US and Vietnam. At BH Net I had a great opportunity to understand how virtual teams worked together and collaborate. I also realized that when communication is solid you can work very efficiently with teams located thousands of miles of away and prior to that I spent nine years in the call center industry wearing several hats, and here are some of them.
