In this movie, we will cover the questions relating to the Close Project Process found from within your workbook located in your work files. The Close Project Process has a total of eight questions and the first question asks for the purpose of the process. The answer to this is that it finalizes all the activities within the five process groups with the intent of formally closing out the project or the project phase. It's basically making sure that closure has actually been reached and that all loose ends have been taken care of. Question two through four provide a refresher of the inputs, the tools and techniques and outputs of the process. I mentioned this previously, but I'll say it again. It's a good exercise to go through. As you're filling these items in, you can also test yourself to see if you know what each means and why they're there. Question five says Close Project Process is responsible for establishing a set of procedures. What do these procedures do? And there are three primary objectives. We'll cover these procedures thoroughly in a moment, but right now the question's focused on the objectives of the procedure. And these include coordinate activities needed to verity and document project deliverables, coordinate and formalize the acceptance of deliverables by the customer or sponsor and if terminated without completion, investigate and document the reasons. Notice number three. This process also handles early termination of a project. There should never be a time where work suddenly halts. Remember that the PMBOK Guide is big on documentation and maintaining historical information. So if the project is taken up later on, this information will be very valuable. Let's move on to question six, which says name the two procedures that establish the set of procedures mentioned in the previous question. And the two procedures are Administrative Closure Procedure and Contract Closure Procedure. Question seven is another follow up to these procedures. It asks you to describe their function and responsibility, so let's go through those. The first is the Administrative Closure Procedure defines the activities, interactions and related rules and responsibilities of the project team members and other stakeholders. And the second, Contract Closure Procedure, includes the activities and the interactions necessary to settle and close the contract agreements that are relating to the project and it also defines the activities supporting the formal administrative closure of the related project contracts. And question eight, which is our final question says contract documentation is an input of this process. What documents does it include? The example specifically provided by the PMBOK Guide include the contract, supporting schedules, approved and unapproved contract changes, seller's technical documentation and work performance information. Of course, these documents may vary by project, but this is meant to give you an idea of what the types of documents it can include. And that was our final question to review for now from within your workbook. This also wraps up the process and the coverage of the Integration Knowledge Area. We are now ready to move into the Scope Knowledge Area beginning in the next section.
