Now there's one more thing and that is if we put in something that's too general up here, for example I'm going to replace this with just the word Variables, and then Hit the Return key. Well MySQL will turn that into a generalized search on the word Variables and it then gives us back search results. And so here it's showing us a number of things about the search results. Here is something about the Syntax for the Show Variables Command in the 5.5 reference manual. But there are many other things, again it's a little bit hard to show you on a small screen like this, but it does summarize this also over here. So it shows us that there are 68 references in some manual, there are 58 in the reference manual itself, and there are some other parts of this website that have some other information about that and a number of different parts of the manual. So I could click on one of those things to see what they hold for me, I could refine my search by putting in some other keywords. This is all already looking at all of the possible content on this site, but there is a Blog Aggregation area called Planet MySQL, and we can look in just the blogs. There's the Developer Zone just the things on these web pages itself that might give us something, there are number of forums that are a part of the site as well. And then there is the documentation and so we can use any of these things as well as filtering with some other attributes and so on, there are many different ways in which we can refine our search. So we can see that the MySQL team has put a great deal of effort into making the documentation approachable and usable for end-users. So that's the end of my very general introduction to MySQL. In the next chapter we will go over some Database Terminology and other background information on databases in general with a few specifics about MySQL thrown in for good measure.
