Subtitles of the Movie
In this video we'll talk about the Windows Vista Welcome Center. When you start Windows Vista you see the Welcome Center. The Welcome Center is the place where you can learn about your system, get started with Vista and also learn about offers from Microsoft. The top of the Window shows information about the version of Windows your running, your computer information including the processor and the amount of RAM installed, the type of graphics card you have and your computer name. If you want more details, click the Show more details link. The System page appears with more information about your computer. Click the Back button to return to the Welcome Center. In the Get started with Windows section, you can view your computer details, transfer files and settings from another computer, add new users, connect to the Internet, see what extras are available if any and learn what's new in Windows Vista. These options are only 6 of the 14 items available. And you can view all 14 items by clicking the Show all 14 items link. In the offers for Microsoft section you can learn about Windows offers as well as download applications for Microsoft. This area lists 6 of the 7 offers available and you can show all 7 items by clicking the Show all 7 items link. The Welcome Center runs its startup by default. But if you don't want the Welcome Center to run its startup, select the checkbox. You can close the Welcome Center and reopen it at any time. Open the Welcome Center by clicking the Start button and then clicking Welcome Center.
