In this video we'll discuss switching users in Windows Vista. It's easy to switch from one user to another in Windows Vista without logging off. For example, you can switch from your own account to a second users account and after you switch to that second account all your open programs and files in your account will still be open and active when you switch back to your account. However, if the second user shuts down the computer or the computer loses power and you haven't saved your open files then all of your work will be lost. Therefore, you should save all your open files before you switch to another user account. Here's how you switch to another user account. Click the Start button. Click the arrow to the right of the Lock button. In the menu click Switch User. The login screen will appear that shows your user account so you can click the Users icon and login to other users account.
