System Requirements and Installation / Add Text Field and Button Controls

Subtitles of the Movie

In order to make this application actually do something, we need to give the user the ability to submit information. One of the easiest ways to do this with a web application is to put a text control and put a button control on the form. Then, when the user enters some information into the text box, and clicks the button to submit the information across the Internet and back to the server, our application on the server can process that information. Once processing is complete, the application on the server can send back to the user a response, perhaps some kind of information related to the information that was submitted, so that the user responds in their browser. Now keep in mind, what this implies is that our application is going to do the data processing and then it needs to send back to the user HTML code that the browser can interpret and display in the user's browser.
