Microsoft Visual Basic for Excel Tutorials

The VBA Programming Language / Summary

Subtitles of the Movie

So let's recap now where we are up to in the course. We started off getting you programming the quick way using macros, and now we've given you a foundation for more rigorous programming by teaching you the fundamentals of the VBA programming language. So now you have some appreciation for the depth and breath of VBA and its practical application. There is just one more area we need to cover before we can really let you loose in the world of Excel VBA programming, and that's using the Visual Basic editor itself. Having a good ground in this will expedite your work significantly. That's going to be covered in the next two chapters. The first one looking at the basic tools of the trade which the editor provides, and then we will go into it in more detail in the chapter entitled 'troubleshooting'.
