So in summary the code production and management features of Visual Basic enable code reuse through the cutting and pasting of text, the exporting or importing of modules, or by creating references. Access control can be facilitated with the use of passwords, so that referenced project can only be accessed by people who have the authority to do so. New procedure insertion is speeded up, by allowing you to use a new procedure dialog box to insert the correct code. And at the same time, that provides a quality control mechanism, so that the correct statement keywords are added, and any particular parameters are also shown correctly. And finally we have of the option to transfer information on a once only permanent basis through importing and exporting modules, or through cutting and pasting text. Or we can setup a dynamic link situation using references, where we can make a change once in a source project, and all the other projects which use that as a reference will then pick up any changes. It's possible to take things further by moving into the world of class modules, however that's beyond the scope of this course. Which tools you use will depend on your particular situation, but you now have the overview to help you to evaluate which way you want to go.
