All right. In the name of finishing this rack diagram, you notice that as you add shapes, at least the built in shapes, you get these little U designations off to the side that tell you how many server rack units are being occupied by each built in, not third party, shape. If you want to lose those, you can right click the Visio Rack Shape and select Hide U Sizes. So I wanted you to be aware of that. Final thing I wanted you to be aware of is the great beauty of the Data Property. Remember how that works, that we can right click a shape, come down to Data and then select Shape Data, and if it's a third party shape you'll need to define those Data Properties from the ground up and if you're not sure how to do that, go back to the earlier section of this tutorial series where we talk all about Shape Data and get reacquainted with that subject. But for built in shapes like this big server here, we can either right click and go to Data, Shape Data, or you'll also remember we can open the View menu and then select the Shape Data window to begin populating that information. You see asset number, serial number, location. So be aware that the Network Rack diagram, or any IT diagram, really comes alive once we start adding that shape data and then, you know, linking to an external database like an Excel file or a Sequel server database, or just displaying a table or a report. You remember how the Reports function worked as well to display shape data information directly on the page. So to finish this out, why don't we bring out our, from our Visio Extras Area let's bring out Borders And Titles, and let's bring out Backgrounds again. From Borders And Titles why don't we this time bring out a title block. Let's see, we'll bring out this guy here and we'll just call this Rack Diagram. Why don't we bring our zoom out to the page level so we can see what we're doing. There we go, not bad. And then let's in our Backgrounds category, why don't we bring out the Web variety. Not too bad, let's bring this guy down a little bit. It could be better, but you know, again we want to leave room here probably for bringing out a table, a data table, that contains information about these shapes. I think at this point we have a really nice start on a server rack diagram. Again, I'd better save this, right? I probably should've saved it right off the bat. Need to practice what I preach here. Let's call this VTC Server Rack Drawing. Remember, drawing and diagram are synonymous terms in Visio 2007. So there you have it.
