Let's sweep up the shavings here by showing you how to format a little bit these pivot diagrams and just change them up. Right now, I don't know if you can see it on your screen now, but our root node here is total and then we have our sales agents as our second level. If we wanted to look at this data a little bit differently, let's say pivot it, what we want to do is select the root node again and then choose a different category. Let's choose quarter. You see? See what we've just done now is we're looking at total sales by quarter and let's just say for quarter two only, we want to look at the associated drinks or products that were sold. We can just, again, it's a question of selecting the shape and then adding a category to it. That's the notion of pivoting in a pivot diagram. So let me bring my zoom up a little bit more. Let me bring it to 80 percent. We're now looking at quarter two. There's apple drink and grape drink. It looks like grape has been sold a lot more than apple. If we want to see who sold grape drink in quarter two, we would come back to our categories and select sales agents. You see? That's all we have to do there. Now, as far as formatting goes, again, I'm glad we covered the course on data graphics because you should probably recognize these guys here quite easily. Yes indeed, a pivot diagram makes use of the data graphic controls. So we can select as many of these shapes as we want and edit those data graphics. You'll notice that I'm using the other actions tool in the pivot diagram window, but we can get to that command in other spots as well. We can right click the selected shapes and then choose data, edit data graphic and we can just do whatever we want to in terms of how that data's being displayed on the pivot diagram report. You see? So that's really all there is to pivot diagrams to start. Obviously, I think you have the idea it can be a potentially very complicated subject, but I'm confident now that you have the basic structure down such that you can get started with creating, editing and formatting pivot diagrams in your Visio 2007 drawings.
