In our Publisher 2007 course through VTC, we've learned a lot about the publication program. This desktop publishing program can do so much for you, whether through your business for marketing tools or for home use, like GIFt ideas, genealogy, things like that. Publisher is that amazing creation program that all of us can use at any skill level. We've gone through all the details of Publisher and learned how to create websites, brochures, fliers, greeting cards, resumes, newsletters, all kinds of documents within Publisher. We've learned how to plan those items, work through all of these documents, learned how to add text, how to format that text and edit it, learned some quick tips and tricks for selecting text. We've also worked with graphics. We can bring in pictures off of our camera, off the web and use clip art. We have also taken the time within this tutorial to look at all the efficiency elements, things like using a mail merge, using the Publisher templates, going to Office Online and utilizing all the great free things they've got there for us. And finally, we went through printing and distribution, or publishing our publications. We need to take these items and get them printed sometimes professionally to really pull out that look that we need for our business or to do just give them out to family and friends, maybe CD labels and CD covers. You've successfully worked through the entire VTC tutorial for Publisher 2007. We know the Publisher desktop elements and terminology. We can manipulate and format our files and our graphics and we can use all kinds of great, wonderful things within the Publisher 2007 program. Continue to practice through Publisher 2007 and you will learn more and more everyday. So continue to have fun with Publisher 2007.
