Once you have a piece of ClipArt in your slide, let's take a look at some of the formatting options that we can do with that. And just like working with photos, you have the same tools at your disposal. Let's get this out of the way and let's make here a little bigger just by dragging that corner that and get her up there. Now, notice when I click the piece of ClipArt, my picture tools and format tab is now active. Let's take a look at what we have. We have over in our adjust group I can adjust the brightness of that particular piece of ClipArt from positive 40 percent down to negative. If I click this to get the dialog box, it's going to give me pretty much what I have here. I can adjust the contrast. I can recolor this. I can compress the photo to reduce the size of the presentation. Now, this is handy if you have to make this portable and you've, the original that you've imported or copied in here or inserted is, you know, a gazillion megabytes, you can compress this and that'll reduce the file size, not the dimensions of it; just the size. You can also change the picture. I can bring in another piece of ClipArt or a photo that will be constrained within what I have here in this size box. And I can also reset to bring this back to the original. Now, over in our picture styles is where you're really going to have some fun. I have a ton of styles that I can apply to this. You can also apply various shapes to the image and I like to think of these as cookie cutters that are like stamped on top of the image. If I work with the heart, that's going to apply a frame. It's like, again, putting a cookie cutter over this and cutting off the outside edges here of my image. Then I can also play with the border. I can add various borders; solid line, dash line and then change the colors of those as well and last but not least, I have a variety of picture effects that I can apply to my piece of ClipArt. Notice what happens when I move this piece of ClipArt. The bounding box will go back and show us the original perspective. Just something to keep in mind when you're moving. That's what that's for. And again, this scene just shows you a few of the neat tricks or effects that you can use to really exploit your creativity when working with ClipArt.
