Subtitles of the Movie

PowerPoint 2007 comes with some really cool and nifty new templates and when I say cool and nifty, I mean cool and nifty. Now, if you're feeling in a creative slump, you may want to start here with some of these canned templates to get some inspiration or just simply plain, outright use them straight out of the box in your presentation. Now, since we're staring at a blank canvas here, let's take a look at what I'm talking about. To look at the templates, first you need to go up to your Office button, click it once, click new and we're going to be given the opportunity to start a new presentation based on some of these canned templates. We have a list of these over here on our left. These show the blank and some of the recent templates that were used. We can take a look at the installed templates and how this works is here's the category, here's the listing within the category and just click once and it's going to give you a more detailed, larger image of the template. So you can scroll through here just to kind of get some ideas. You also have templates that you may have created in the past that you can pull up and use. We can also go to Microsoft Office online and in your case, if you haven't gone online recently, you may see a little connect dialog box here as you connect to the Internet to do that. So you do need to be connected to the Internet to look at these templates because, of course, it is Microsoft Office online, with online being the operative word there. Now, you can see, here are some of the featured categories. You have a calendar at this time, a basic organization chart and, of course, a little advertising for Microsoft Office. We can take a look at agendas; not much. Award certificates and again, you have a creative license agreement here if you use some of these templates. You will need to say I accept if you use any of those and again, it just goes right on down the line with a variety of choices and templates. Doesn't look like we have much diagrams. How about invitations? Ok, not much today. Presentation? There we go. Look at some business. So just a slew of things to look at when it comes to using different templates. So once you have chosen your template, let's go ahead and work with the employee orientation presentation. I'm going to say download, continue, there we go. Presentation is now on our computer and we can start editing like so and build your presentation. So again, you can do this with a different text, photos, so forth and so on.
