Subtitles of the Movie

Editing QuickStyles. Now, unlike the name suggest, we can not actually edit a QuickStyle and then save it as a new type of style to use down the road. What I mean by that is if I want to create; let's actually take a look at how we do that. I'm going to work with a shape for starters. Let's work with a cross and we'll stick him in there and we'll apply a QuickStyle. But I don't like any of these particular QuickStyles. I want to work with purple, but I don't like the effects that I have. What are my options? Well, let me get something that's close. And then I can manipulate this to get it to exactly what I want by using the shape fill and the outline fill and the effects over here in the drawing group. Now, when I apply an effect, let's say if I want to change the bevel on this to something that I like a little bit more here, let's see. I'm looking for something a little more sunken-in looking. There we go. Notice I do not have the option of saving that particular QuickStyle. If I want to call this John's QuickStyle that I want to use in my graphics throughout this presentation, I don't have that options. I will have to pick the closest QuickStyle and then make some further edits. Again, this will apply to anything. If I want to apply a QuickStyle to my title group container here, I can do the same thing. Make that purple and then make further edits like so. So again, when you're editing QuickStyles, you're really just editing the particular element of that and you can not save that as a future-use QuickStyle. So with that in mind, work with the palette you have and then see what you can do to push the envelope even further if you need to.
