Creating a Presentation / Manually Creating a Template

Subtitles of the Movie

Saving a Template. Let's say that you spent a lot of time working on your own complete and personal background. What I have done is used a color scheme that I have chosen, but I have also used a custom picture, and then I have put a title, and I have named it beach consulting. Let's say that I want a template that looks like this, no matter which slide I am working on I always have my picture and my logo at the top in the slide. Can I do it? Sure. What you have to do, in this circumstance, is actually save your creation as a template file, and then at this point you will be able to choose the template as you would any others, and doing so is really easy and you will find this really useful if you create custom looks like this one. Click file - save as, and then in the save as type drop-down menu, choose design template. Now you want to give it a descriptive name so you can find it easier and I am going to call this one beach, and notice that it is going to save it in PowerPoint's templates folder and that is fine. Just click save and it is going to be saved. If we go to design templates and take a look, we can scroll through our lists and here we go, here is our design template we just created. As you can see, it's now part of the templates, it's on the list. If I select this one, I can apply this template to any slide, then I can apply it to an entire presentation, if I like. As you can see, exactly saving a page that you create as a slide, as a template is rather easy to do, and it gives you a lot of different customization options so that you can use your own custom graphics, your own custom colors, and create it just the way that you want it to be and use the template time and time again.
