Another thing I can do with regard to changing the background on this slide, is create a patterned or filled background. Again it's under format to background, click on the down arrow and choose fill-effects - I have gradients, textures, patterns and pictures to choose from. Under gradient I can choose one color, two colors or I can from a preset. If I choose one color I can pick whatever color I want, two colors I can pick my second color and it will show me a preview of the gradient. Any presets, I can click from all of these, and choose whichever one it is that I want. Once I decide what I want my background to look like with regard to this gradient - let's say I want this one. I can choose a style from horizontal, vertical, diagonal, from corners or from the title. Once I find one that I like I click OK, apply it and there it is, my gradient. Again format to background and choose fill-effects - so those are my gradients. I can also choose a texture from anything that's listed here - so I can pick one, click OK, apply it, and it's been applied to my slide. I think I had better change the color of the text there. Well I don't think that will really help very much, well let's change the background again. Format to background, fill-effects and I can choose a pattern. From any one of these, I can choose the foreground color and a background color. From any one of these two choose a pattern, click OK, apply it and there it is. And my text is the same color, so we will change the text color again and there is my pattern. Under format to background the last is picture. I can select a picture to use as my background - I prefer the gradients myself. So again under format to background, choose fill-effects - you can choose a gradient, texture, pattern or picture to use and that is how you can change only one slide. Notice that none of my other slides has changed.
