Subtitles of the Movie

When we were looking at the master slides,(and I am going to back to the slide master to show you) there is a section for the date, a footer area and a number area. What this is showing you is where this information would go if you choose to insert it. Well let's go back to normal view. Basically if we go at the bottom of each slide - and how we get it there is this. Let's got to view in the menu bar to header and footer. I can choose to have the date and time. If I choose to have the date and time do I want it to update automatically or do I want it fixed. Notice down here in the preview it's highlighting what I currently have checked. If I do want the date and time, if I want it to update automatically I can choose the format. If I want if fixed I can simply type it in. Let's say I want it to be Christmas - maybe this is about Christmas stuff. I can type in that information. I can choose whether or not I want a slide number and a footer. In the footer you often have something like a company name, something to that effect. I can also choose whether or not I want this information on the title slide - do I or don't I. To the right I have two options - apply and apply to all. If I choose apply, it will only apply it to the one slide that I am on. If I choose apply to all it will apply this to all of the slides and that's what I am going to choose. Notice I had checked don't apply to title slides - so it's not on the title slide, however it is on all of the other slides. So again you go to view, header and footer, the date if you want it to update automatically or be fixed. If it's fixed you have to type it in. Do you want the slide number? Do you want a footer with say a company name? And do you want it on the title slide? Apply applies to one slide, "apply to all" applies to all of the slides.
