Modifying Presentations / Adding and Moving Text

Subtitles of the Movie

This chapter is all about modifying presentations: adding text; changing the text attributes; masters; changing backgrounds, those sort of things. First let's talk about adding text. Well, Powerpoint makes it very very easy to do that, because it actually says, well click to add title. So you click, type in whatever title it is that you want, say all about dogs. Notice the text appears to the left and where it says click to add sub-titles, click and I can type in some sort of sub-title, like, how about different breeds. When I want another slide, I insert another slide, choose a layout, and I'll choose a bulleted list, and click OK, and we have another slide. Click to add title, and I'll click and let's add a title "favorite breeds". Again notice that the text appears to the left as well, now I can add text - it automatically creates a bulleted list for me, so I can type in some type of list, German shepherds, Boxers, any type of dog. And I simply continue to type in text - notice that a bullet is added for me. So basically that's how Powerpoint works with regard to adding text to the slides. You click on the text fonts that you want to add a slide to and type in whatever text it is that you want. Powerpoint works with text boxes.
