To choose a presentation design once you are in Powerpoint there are two ways: you can go to common tasks and choose apply design template; or you can go to format in the menu bar and apply design template. These are all of the design templates that are within Powerpoint - you simply select one and you'll get a preview of it to the right (and yes they're in Latin), until you find one that you like. And you can go through all of them. When you find one that you like, say this one, simply choose apply, and that design has been applied to your presentation. And again the other way - common tasks, apply design template, and you can change your design template any time while you are working on your presentation. Let's say you like this one better, select it, apply and there it is. If at any time you want a brand new blank presentation simply go to File to new, CTRL+N, or you can choose the new button here, and you will get a blank presentation And we are right back where we started before.
