In this module, I'll show you a brief tip, yet a very valuable tip, when it comes to working with the views of your inbox. This chapter deals with ways to deal with the inbox, and certainly we can search it, we can rearrange the view, we can rearrange the groupings and so on. But you may end up with something like this. Where you're like, uh oh, what did I just do and why is the size showing up, as far as the information in the e-mail I want to see the subject of the e-mail and not the size of the e-mail. What did I do and how do I set things back to the way they were before. Well, one of the ways you can do that, obviously, is to understand this Fields chooser dialog box, as you customize the view. The other way though, is that you can use the same exact Customize View dialog box, and just click on this button at the bottom. This is a reboot, or just a punt and start all over again, and if I click reset the current view, it will give me a dialog box confirming it. Do you want to reset the view messages to its original settings? Yes I do, and when I click on Ok, I'm back to where I was before. So, keep that in mind, this a little safety valve, and it should also kind of just free your mind a little bit, that sounds a little new agey, but, it should free you up I should say, to experiment, to change the views all you want to. What if I did this and this, and that and the other, would that make me more productive? Well, again, try it out, click around, because you could always go back. Go into the Custom, one more time, just to give you the click steps. Click on the heading here, Arrange By, and then go to Custom, and if I was in the other view that I showed you in the previous module you would right click and go to Customize View, same thing. Open up this dialog box, Customize View Messages, and reset the current view. That's all you've got to do.
