To find and locate text in a website, select folders, then you have one of two options. You can choose to change and find text in a selected web page. Select the web page from the right hand side of your screen, then select edit>find, and follow the directions for the particular item you want to find. We will cancel out of here and return back to the main screen, where we will look at the second option, which is to locate text in all of the website. Highlight the web that you want to locate the text in, then select edit>find, enter the word that you want to find, select your search options where you want to find the text - whether it is all pages, selected pages, current page. Select how you want the text to be found, whether you want it to match the case only, find the whole word only, or find in HTML. Once you've made your selections, select find in web. The results will be displayed for you in the box, display box. And as you can see there are currently two words, customers, in this particular page, and one in each of the other. To change these words or replace, select replace, then choose your options once again, and either select replace all or replace. When you click replace all and all the words of customer will be changed to client. What is FrontPage telling me, is that once this is done, I won't be able to undo this particular operation. Do I want to continue, and yes I do. In other words, it will be changed for me and you can see that the program is working here by changing the items. Once the program is finished, the status bar will read edited. And you know that the changes have taken place. To exit this dialog box, click cancel and you will be returned back to the main screen. ck to the main screen.
