There are a few more options available to you when you are creating image maps. If you want the text to really, really stand out, when your visitors come to your page, you can highlight the text within the image map. To do so, select the text, highlight it, then from your formatting toolbar select the highlight. And we'll just move it over here, so we can have a better view of it. Select the type of highlight that you want to use. Keep in mind when you are selecting a highlight color, that the color should be easy to see. For example, if I was to select red, you probably wouldn't be able to see the highlight since the roses in the background are red. We will select yellow and highlight it, then exit from the highlight box, and click our left mouse key to view the highlight. And as you can see, this is highlighted on our screen. If you've created an image map and you've decided perhaps image maps are not exactly not what you want for your website, this is no problem. You can simply delete the image map from the graphic. And it is recommended if you are not used to working with the image maps, that perhaps maybe you work with the program for a while, build your website, then come back and apply an image map. To delete the image map, click where the image map is, then press delete on your keyboard. And the image map will be deleted from your particular site, or from your graphic.
