Getting Started / Create One Page Web

To create a web in FrontPage, select file, then new, then page or web. From the right hand side of your screen, select website templates. We will start off by selecting the very basic website, which is a one page web. Highlight it, then specify the location for the new web. The path that should be typed should be in a following format, which is here. Which is C:\My Documents, and then the name of the particular web that you are creating. And this web we are going to call "my flower shop". Click OK for the settings to take place, and then the web will be created in FrontPage. From page view make sure that your folder's list is showing by clicking on it, then in the folders list on the right hand side of the screen, click on the index or the default homepage which is here, double click on this and it will be previewed in your browser, which is here. And as you can see, this particular page is empty, because we have nothing in it. You can personalize this page by entering a name for the page, by clicking on file, then clicking save as, and we will change the name of the index to "my home page". Then click save, and it will be saved for you as "my home page". page".
