To set form properties, right click anywhere within the form, select form properties, then your first option in the forms property dialog box is to select where you would like to store the results. You have three options you can choose from: having the results sent to an e-mail address, sent to a database that you may have created, or sent to another area. We will select e-mail addresses, enter the file name, which will be customer. Then the e-mail address where you would like these particular results to be sent. Next select options, and you are able to select various saving options for the results. We are currently saving this particular file under customer results. Then enter the file format, which will be HTML. However, you are able to select other formats by clicking on the drop down box and making your selection. If you want to include the field names within the results, place a check mark in the box. And if you want the latest results at the end, place a check mark in this particular box. In addition, you can also create an optional second file to contain or to store the results in, by following the same procedure as we just did previously. Next, e-mail results. This is where the results will go to. In the e-mail address header, select subject line. Enter the text that you want to appear in the header of the e-mail message, then select reply to line if you want to reply to this particular message, and if you do not leave this particular area blank. Confirmation page. This particular option will be displayed when a user or visitor is successful in submitting the form. You can select this here by entering a confirmation page in, which usually would be your website or another location. Then click the final tab, which is save fields. Currently the form fields that we are saving are these fields here, and as you recall these are the fields that we created when we created this particular form. If you want to delete one of these particular form fields, simply highlight it and then select delete. Your next option is to set the time and date for the results. You can select to set a time format, or a date format and a time format, by clicking on the drop down box and making your selection. Finally, there is some additional information that you can save, such as the name of the remote computer that was used, the browser type which may be useful for you depending upon the type of website that you are creating, and the user name of the individual that filled out the results or the form. Once you've indicated all of these settings, click ok for the settings to take place. Then click ok, and these settings will take place on your form property dialog box. What is occurring here is Microsoft FrontPage is telling us that we must submit these settings, we must set up an e-mail options on our window in order to save these particular items. To do so, you can either click yes or no and we right now we will click no, and return back to our form that we've just created. 0] and return back to our form that we've just created.
